My great grandparents are also Patrick and Mildred Hopkins. My older relatives don't seem to know anything about my grandfather James' siblings. My aunt (the eldest on that side of the family) recalls an ?Aunt Marg but that's all. James had 3 children which would have been your mother's cousins. I've been told that a rift occurred as the Hopkins family were staunch catholics and he married a Church of England girl, but who knows? Anyway, would love to know a little more if possible.
